    Default Quick Quilt-Top Finished

Thanks to all the suggestions from board members for quick quilts, I gave it a try and put something together for my friend with a brain tumour. Although my stash is nothing in comparison to some others, I am glad that I could add some yardage earlier this year. Up to then, I only had scraps and it would have been impossible to put together a quick quilt!

Now the top is being sandwiched and I'm going to try glue basting for the first time.

Pretty! I love the colors you put together, and the rail fence is a timeless pattern. Your friend will be thrilled that you took the time to make something special for her. Good wishes for her recovery.
