So, I joined sometime in the beginning of this year, I finally gave up on attempting my first quilt, because quite frankly, I thought it was too much work with going to college and raising a family. However, this year for Christmas, I was fortunate enough to receive all of the things I would need to begin my own quilt (minus the fabric). I went to the store, and my first thought walking into the fabrics was "oh my goodness, I can never find a fabric that will look good". However, after the initial overwhelming feeling passed, I found this beautiful fabric; or so I think :). Here is what I have accomplished in only three days!!! granted many mistakes, but it is my first, after all :XD:

You rock!!!!!!!! Lovely choice of fabrics, and you will find, like most of us have discovered, that you learn to love many varieties of fabrics, styles, etc. I think you did a great job - Rail Fence was one of my first quilts too! Way to go - keep up the good work!
