That is the method I learned for my Trip Around the World quilts and Bargello quilts.

I bought it at a thrift shop. I have several yards of it. It only cost me 50 cents a yard.

I just joined this group a couple weeks ago & found that tutorial... I made one today out of a Christmas gift of 5" strips... it came out great... will donate it next month for a charity quilt for our guild... was so simple to do, I got the rows together in no time at all!! this is a wonderful site... love your quilt, that boarder fabric is great!!
