    I like the drunkards path version better (Mak Lepenski(??)..won't do this pattern again. I made the big eagle(25 inch across)
    separate and sewed it on after quilting

    What a beautiful way of honoring your brother's service in Viet Nam. My twin brother was over there at the same time. I gifted him a valor quilt as well. Thank you all who served and are serving.
