Default A Quilt for a Chemistry College Student

I made this quilt for my daughter when she was studying Physical Chemistry at the College of William & Mary, in Williamsburg Virginia, while on an athletic track & field scholarship (for Discus).

Here is the lable:

She went onto Yale to get a masters in Physical Chemistry, but her doctorate was interrupted due to 2 children with her husband.

She mailed this picture to me today to tell me that the quilt might have been made for a college student, but all quilts look better with grandbabies using them.

So, pardon my bragging, but I don't know what achievement I am most proud of: the quilt, my child, or my grandchild. i guess this time, it is not the quilt.

PS. Third child is due early July. I'll post that baby quilt soon.

Jane, congratulations-on your daughter's accomplishments! ...And your quilt, of course! Beautiful colors and adorable pic of toddler sleeping! Please wish your daughter a smooth delivery in July!

That is a great quilt and looks much loved. I especially like the layout - is there a pattern for it?

I love the fabric that you selected for this quilt. What a cutie pie feeling very safe and comfortable under the quilt that you made with so much love.
