Default Quilt from class #2

This is my third quilt but the second one from taking classes. The second class taught us different kinds of blocks to make a "Sampler Quilt". I did try the stitch-in-the-ditch along the sashes for my quilting. This will go to my second grandson, Taylor. I did a little different from the class with the binding. Hope you enjoy! "my machine stitching class is next month LOL"

Very nice work for just your 3rd quilt. I love sampler quilts because there are so many nice blocks I can never decide what one to use. Can you tell me how big an individual block is? Thanks, Sue

Black & white & red all over! I love this quilt! And I know your DGS will, too! The colors are perfect! Aren;t samplers fun to do? The very first quilting class I took (back in the Stone Age) was a sampler class & I think I'd like to revisit that book & technique with perhaps some repro fabric this time. Thanks for showing this to us -- it's inspiring!

Sampler quilts are such a great way to get to try out a lot of different things. Yours is a beauty. Thanks for sharing.
