    Oh, my gosh... I ordered precuts (10 inches) from Connecting Threads and am in the midst of making almost the exact same type of quilt. My fabrics are a bit brighter but I am using black to frame it just like you did. This is so reminiscent of how I envisioned my quilt. I am not following a pattern but just randomly decided to do this. I should be posting the pictures in a few weeks. I really like the wider black sashing near the edges. I was worried about how the quilt would turn out but yours looks great.
