Thanks to everyone who offered ideas. Here is the quilt top, commemorating my young friend's Bat Mitzvah, her 13th birthday.

Love the placements of all the photos...

what method did u use to transfer the photos? Years ago I did the copy machine photo and iron onto fabric.. it was a poor quality to me....
I have been reading/learning to print the photo directly to the fabric...
