I made this quilt for a friend who is battling leukemia. The fabric line is Northcott's "Flight of the dancing cranes" and is beautiful fabric to work with. I wanted to make something asymmetric and I used gold thread to compliment the gold in the fabric. My FHQ is a bit rough, but I'm learning. Hope you enjoy looking. Thanks.

Photo doesn't do fabric justice.

Your friend will really appreciate this as they go thru treatment. It's a lovely quilt and an even nicer gesture of friendship. I know how hard it is when a friend is battling a disease. A quilt truly says "I care about you."

Your fabrics and the quilt your created are lovely. So hard to see the special people in our lives go through difficult times, I'm sure your gift will mean a lot.
