Default Quilt at Hawk Mountain

My DH and I went to the Hawk Mountain Sanctuary near Kemption, PA. The mountain has been set aside as a conservation area for observing the different raptors that visit the area and migrate on their way to South America. The mountain has hiking trails, bird watching spots, and lots of views from the trails. Did I mention rugged hiking trails?

Look what is above the reception desk in the visitors center?

A lot of work went in to those wall hangings and they are beautiful. You must have been so surprised to see them there.

Wonderful. Hawk Mountain is a rather famous location for bird wacthing during migrations. The panels are a lovely tribute to our winged friends. Thanks for sharing this beauty.
peace

What an appropriate quilt to be hanging there. We need areas for these birds because they are nature's garbage disposal.
