A Quilt/Hug for my sil
#31
I'm sorry to hear of the difficult time your family is going through, as horrific as it is for your sill, it's also a difficult time for those of you who love her. Your quilt shows how much you care, she will feel your love. I will keep all of you in my prayers. Here is a (((hug))) for you, just for being so thoughtful.

We are very lucky here in the Uk as once you turn 50 you get to have a mammogram every 3 years on the National Health. Unfortunately last time I had mine the nurse told me a large percentage of women do not bother to turn up for their appointment. How silly is that. Once you are 70 you do not get a recall, but are still able to have the mammogram as long as you ask for it. I do.
Thoughts are with your SIL and family

What a beautiful quilt. Bless her heart. She does have a lot to deal with. I sure she will enjoy this quilt, knowing the love you put into it.
My oldest sister has breast cancer that has now metastasized to her lungs. I am in the process of making her a quilt, that I had started many years ago. I've been "away" from my sewing/quilting for years. I allowed life to get in the way. I want to finish Judy's first.

Update: SIL was recovering really well. She has the best attitude. She started chemo Thursday. The docs say that she should prepare her self for some nasty side effects. She has a really bad family history and they are taking no chances.
