Wow, someone got a steal. Seems to me there is close to $200 worth of materials in that quilt just in fabric batting and thread. You didn't charge enough for all the time it probably took to make that. Congratulations on the sale but I think you need to raise your prices!

Congratulations on your sale - that's a beautiful quilt, but I agree that the purchaser stole it. I paid $350.00 for a quilt 25 years ago. It was hand quilted - but still, around these parts, you would never, never find a handmade quilt for $300.00.

Congratulations and although you didn't make a lot of money it will still give you some money for supplies. I sell a few of my things at a Christmas craft show for just over the cost of the materials because it finances my quilting hobby.

Congratulations! I sold a quilt called Stars in my Garden last year at a festival for $300. I really didn't expect it to sell and got so nervous when a lady actually bought it...ha. But, everyone told me that I had sold it for too little. I guess I could have priced it much higher, but I wanted it to sell. So, if you feel that it was a fair price that's all that matters. And you've got some money in your pocket!
