Beautiful quilt, and great to have in her memory! I agree about making them, still beating myself up over not keeping some of my late DH's shirts to make one, was in too much of a hurry due to change in living arrangements. Congrats on purple ribbon, you can rest assured your sister is very proud of you!

What a beautiful quilt and loving tribute to your sister. When my sister passed away, shortly after a family reunion where all of us siblings were together, the next reunion quilt I made was in her memory, as I have done for other members of the family. I'm happy that you finished the quilt and I imagine there was a lot of healing during the process.

I have this pattern. Your quilting added to your beautiful quilt. I applaud you on you taking care of your self. I understand your comfort just looking at something she would have loved.
