Beautiful quilt, and great to have in her memory! I agree about making them, still beating myself up over not keeping some of my late DH's shirts to make one, was in too much of a hurry due to change in living arrangements. Congrats on purple ribbon, you can rest assured your sister is very proud of you!

Charming quilt with amazing quilting! So sorry for the loss of your sis - I don't know what I'd do without mine!

What a beautiful quilt and loving tribute to your sister. When my sister passed away, shortly after a family reunion where all of us siblings were together, the next reunion quilt I made was in her memory, as I have done for other members of the family. I'm happy that you finished the quilt and I imagine there was a lot of healing during the process.

So pretty and such a sweet pattern. Lovely. I lost my sister in March and it is a bummer.

I have this pattern. Your quilting added to your beautiful quilt. I applaud you on you taking care of your self. I understand your comfort just looking at something she would have loved.

It brings a smile to anyone's face, and who wouldn't want to be remembered in this way! Lovely work. Sorry for your loss.
