Awesome heirloom. Incredible quilt. I love the quilts from the 1800 and early 1900's.

She served as a nurse during the Civil War in a hospital in Columbus, GA, where her husband was a doctor. This quilt was probably made during the early 1900's. It measures 70"x76". My mother had it quilted in 1975 and gave it to me as a wedding present. The small squares are 1/2". It is hand pieced and quilted.
