I think the mauve will turn out good...for your first pieced quilt, girlfriend...you did GOOD!!! So, I'm ready for the next pic. :lol:

DH my QC(pick which one, Quilting Coach or Quality Control) says he does not like the mauve as the last border. Going to go today to see if we can find one HE likes. He wants RED or Maroon. ughhhh

Actually, I think a purple to pick up the butterfly wings would make them really sail :wink:

Yea I wish I had some purple that would solve my problems for sure. Only purple I have is flannel.

Tell the QC coach he needs a color class. No red, LOL.maybe a mauvy maroon but i would try and stay with the colors already in the quilt and go with the mauve.
