Default A quilt for my cousin ...

I have found that quilts are a very special way to let someone know they have touched your life ... no matter how small or big. My cousin, Phyllis, is one of those people. She is the same age as I am and is starting to go blind. She is so upbeat. Yesterday I gave her a call just to chat ... she lives in North Carolina & I'm in Nevada. We both grew up in New York and have wonderful memories of the fun times we had together. I'm hoping that she will be able to distinguish the different colors, as I know she is having some difficulty with that. Thought I'd put labels on each color in one block so that she will know the color. I just love this quilt ... it's a happy quilt. The fabric is Summer Breeze and Summer Breeze II. My dear long-armer quilted it with a flower & feather motif.

Beautiful quilt and colors are great! I know your cousin will feel the love in this quilt, even with limited eyesight. That love and generosity will last forever!
