Default Thinking outside the box...

I am always looking for ways to think outside the box when it comes to quilting fabrics. Yesterday I found a fabric sample book at the antique store. It was $6.00. As you can see by the photo that I was able to get the silks out of the book and cut them into 9 1/2 inch sqs. It will be a wall hanging.
What do you think?

This is going to be beautiful. What a great idea. I think outside the box also and sometimes people think I am nuts before they see the finished product.

What a wonderful way to re-purpose fabric! I love your layout and think it will make a beautiful wall hanging. Please remember to show us your finished project. Thanks for sharing.
