I did not know about copyrights and such when i made this quilt, but I was inspired after reading a book written by one of the original 'red hat' group members. I know I can not sell it, but I am thrilled with it anyway! I just know the quilt police will find me....

This is unfinished until I get some more info on copyright laws as it applies to this quilt.

Very cute quilt! I think if it is for your personal use, and not produced for profit, the quilt police won't haul you away. (shhhhh!! We won't tell them where to find you)
Did you come up with the design for the quilt on your own?

I love it. And remember there are no quilt police here.

Yes the design itself is mine, just not the 'red hat'.

I don't think anyone can claim a copyright to a red hat can they? Some things just can't be copyrighted. Suppose it was a red dress?
