    Here is a picture of a quilt in progress! My dear mother in law ordered it for her living room...the aubergine color fits perfect to their furniture.

    That's gorgeous! Love the quilting and the color!
    Can you tell us what kind of fabric and thread you used, what type of batting, and how you marked this piece?

    For that quilt I use a P&B solid for the top and a flower print of Quilt Gate for the backing (I show pictures of the back later). The batting is Hobbs 80/20 and the hand quilting thread the YLI brand. These all are my favourite materials! It's a pleasure to work with.
    I mark the patterns with a watercolor pencil.
