My DH spent hours removing years of dirt, sanding, and sealing this old orchard ladder. He repainted the metal hardware with it's original color, to show off a few my quilts. He's "a keeper".

I have one too but my ladder is not nearly so decorative and lovely as yours is. I have mine in front of a door I do not use in my bedroom. My grandmother's antique quilts are on it.
