Because I can not find this pattern in my local stores and really do not want to order it online I gave recreating the pattern a shot off many pictures. I think I just about got it but you guys be the judges....

Ok the front pocket isn't quite right and I need to throw another seam along the top.... anything else?

I made mine without a pattern too. I am working on #3. After the first one, you get the steps down pat! I like your material and your pocket looks fine to me. Yes, you need to stitch around the top. Did you use fusible pellon or fleece to stiffen it? It needs to be put on the outside fabric and the lining to give it body.....Good first attempt! :thumbup:

I actually just used some batting I had handy. I didn't really feel like running out to the fabric store for this one. I only had enough to line the outside and the front pocket and not the lining. Well... I probably could have done the lining but I wanted to save my bigger piece for some quilts I'm working on. I'm probably going to get some fusible pellon for my next attempt. I want to make another wolf one for my friend who also loves wolves.
