I never heard of crumbs before--then I happened upon this site and decided to start doing something with my bags of crumbs! I had alot of fun doing it. My "rope rug" started out as an oval but ended up being more round. This "site" has me doing things I never thought to do. I have decided to make a rug to match every quilt I piece. Have you noticed I said pieced?? I am attempting to machine quilt and I'm finding it very difficult but I will perservere. Back to my crumbs !!! Anne

After I had seen the tutorial I had to make some. I now have 3 in progress. When I'm not on this site I'm wrapping rope. I have a few quilt tops that I want to make matching rugs for.

excellent stuff!

I've been making rope bowls. It's probably the same technique as the rug but you angle the rope after the bottom is finished.
