Today I finally made it to the quilt show that I've been trying to get to for the past 2 years. (They added antique tractors to the mix and guess what??? We happened to make it there this year  ) Well...thats not really fair to DH as he did just sit in the truck..he couldn't even get out to walk and look at the tractors...but he didn't mind waiting for me. I would have like to take a little bit more time, but I really enjoyed what I did see! Next year...I'll try to allow more time!

Here are some pics...thought you would enjoy some TN quilts. All but 2 of the quilts in the show were hand quilted. There were several antique quilts and quite a lot of cross stitched and/or embroidered pieced combinations.

Here is the link to my album from today

Those are lovely quilts, and if I knew the show was going on I would have went. McNairy County isn't that far from me and it would have made for a nice day trip for my wife and I plus I love antique tractors!!

Whew, they sure did some pretty quilts. Love all that embroidery and the handkerchief ladies are wonderful. :D

Thanks Patti! I keep looking for DJs at all the quilt shows and so far haven't seen any. I plan on entering mine 2 years from now. How's that for confidence?

Hey all you close to McNairy Co TN. folks.....keep an eye out about this time of year. Evidently this is an annual thing...They had a huge sign up in Selmer about it and I ran across a notice about it in a local restaurant.

And Jan....I LOVE you confidence...I noticed...no Jane type quilts either!
