Your post brought tears to my eyes--happy tears. Moms are so very special and I still miss mine so much even though it's been over 7 years since she died. She pieced a top for me which provided the incentive for me to learn to quilt. My sister has also learned and we both love to get together for a "sisters' weekend" when we can. It's so much fun to just hang out and quilt together, visit, watch movies, eat a little chocolate, drink a little wine . . .
It's sort of like Mother's legacy to us.

I am so sorry for your loss, but sounds as if you have many beautiful memories. Love is the most important gift of all. Hopefully, you will receive many squares to help your project.

Three beautiful squares received today: Thanks to each of you (I don't know each of your Usernames, so I posted first name.) Oh, yes, I need some photography classes. The squares are perfect but I can't say that my photo taking is. LOL
