Mark and I visited our son at college today and I spotted a fabric store--a BIG one--on the way there. It was open on our way home!! :D  :D

They have over 7,500 bolts of cotton fabrics.  :D

Now, you know just how much self control I used to get out of there with only 5 (correction, 7) pieces. I also (oh, you'll be so very proud of me) asked where the sale ones were.

The center fall color is the only flannel--$4.50/yd. The blue with gold squares and the one next to it were also $4.50/yd. The batiks were not on sale--but I can't resist an earthy batik.

The owner is so smart--she had a TV going with the football game on--Mark gravitated toward it right away. Hey! I was impressed he even came in!

Yes, sandpat--I LEFT 7,495 (correction, 7, 493) there. Not as much as 1/4 yard of any of those.

That's really pretty stuff you got!!! :)

I don't know if I could have had as much self control.
Fabric shops are my downfall if I can get into one.
You did good and to get Mark in there? WOW! I'll tell ya, that's one smart shop owner. lol

Wow, that was some control, I would have never made it out of there with so little fabric. I can't even go to Joanns anymore without spending $100-$200 every time I'm in there. Thank goodness I can put most of it to use. And my hubby doesn't complain anymore how much I buy cause he knows how much I sell out of it! Oh, and your fabrics you did pick are beautiful!
