*I I think however you quilt it you should try to keep the quilting geometric rather than organic, because it will accentuate the geometric feel of the quilt top......does that make sense?

I love this quilt!! All that comes to my mind when I see this is the power up mushrooms!!Have fun and can't wait to see it finished!!

I would stiple or meander with the same color thread as what's being quilted. For example, I'd quilt white in the cloud, avoiding the blue within the cloud, and red thread on red fabric, ect. It all depends if you want the piecing to stand out, or the quilting.

Good job, by the way. Your GS will love it!

I would have to agree with bri1977. I was actually thinking diagonal crosshatch, just to keep the geometrics of the quilt. Usually I would have said meandering or stippling, but, this one says cross-hatching to me. Whatever you decide, it will be beautiful. BTW your quilt is astounding.
