Default This quilt top looks like a board game -

Well I was trying for a kitchen tablecloth look, but now I'm thinking I just have to create some kind of game to use it for. You know, something with dice and little game pieces ....
Paths through the Orchard, Gather the Pears, etc.

So I used a border print in reverse! Used the border of the original black fabric for focus squares, and used the "interior" of the black fabric as my own border. Lightens up the effect, I think.

you know, that could be fun. Go for it. Cute table cloth. I think I have some of that dark print myself somewhere.

It's great, I think it would make a wonderful board game and it would keep people at the table longer.

reminds me of a game we called puck-puck a sort of Parcheesi on a diagonal. Very clever design!

Reminds me of a forties or fifties table cloth. I really like it a lot.

Very spring-y. Maybe use dinner rolls for the game pieces ;-) ?
