Default Quilt top made today from oriental fabrics

Justflyingin posted a thread today or yesterday asking if anyone remembered a particular quilt. A member found it on The Quilt Haus site. I have had this piece of oriental fabric (almost a yard) for a couple of years and just hated to cut it up. When I saw this pattern I thought it would work very well. Haven't decided on the border yet, maybe just a scrappy strip using all the colors in the fabric with the aqua for binding.

What a great idea - sometimes fabric should not be cut up into smaller pieces and that one is definitely one of those. Well done.

I love it! What is the finished size? I have one yard of fabric I would love to use.

I haven't finished it yet, and because I am using scraps for the background I'm not sure of the finished size. Believe it will be approximately 5' square.
