It's neither stacked nor scrappy - unusual for me! I think the star points made with an uneven stripe really give kind of a neat sparkle look. This is the star made with the Tri Recs templates, which I think of as the skinny star :) I use the little spinners around the outside in lots of my quilt tops, just to fill in or to add some color. These are made with the same template as the star points.

I put four patches in the corners of the stars and then used a pieced sashing.

WOW! I love the effect you got with the striped fabric on the star points. Beautiful piece!
