I pulled a bunch of fabrics to work on this color progression, but, as the top grew, I had to pull many more colors than I had initially to make the transition smooth. Added the one fish print just for a little color and a focal point. I used the Fast 2 Cut Storm at Sea Templates by Wendy Matheson to make the blocks and I think the templates are well worth having. There is some fabric waste, as you need to trim the blocks, but you also get a really neat block!

Another wonderful top of yours, makes me want to buy this template, too...but in the end, it's not the template which makes the quilt, but the quilter, don't you think? You did GREAT,thank you for sharing!

Well, thanks, but I really think the template did a great job! I've not been able to piece that one diamond shape very well in the past :) I'll try to put some more tops on that I've made using that template for designs other than the Storm at Sea, because that diamond shape is handy!
