This is a super easy stacked block! Just stacked squares arranged in each block. This was a really large floral print.

The top is made with just two fabrics - the sashing and the floral for the stacks.

I'm impressed with your creativity with the 'stack 'n whack' technique...personally I love it, and I love your quilts!

Thanks so much! Since I love making stacks, I'm always looking for new ways to use them. This is the first time I'd used this block design and it was so nice and easy but still have the stacked effect.

Let's see if I can get this right. You just take on piece of large fabric and place blocks, circle and hexagons on top and stitch them down.

No, basically, you stack repeats of fabric on top of each other and cut your block pieces from that. In this case, six repeats. So, after the cut, I had six matching squares, which I arranged into the shape you see and then sewing them together.
