The Jewels in My Flower Garden she gave to me quite a few Christmases ago - I am hand quilting each square - it's the look I want. The hearts are one of four that she gave the last Christmas she was with us. I don't like hearts really, but after quilting it on my aunts machine I like it a lot better. Just have to finish stitching the edge... the cats enjoyed the photography session

How beautiful! It's so nice to have them from your grandmother, and that you are able to finish them!

Beautiful quilts with such memories, I'm sure.
Cats are such curious little buggers, aren't they. :D

What a treasure you have. I had the honor of quilting 3 that my grandmother had pieced. Even though they are not my colors I love them. To me they are priceless.
