    Quilt of Valor

I made this Quilt of Valor, finished it a couple of weeks ago and turned it in. I love it and wanted to keep it, but somewhere there is a present or former service member who deserves it. I don't want to forget my color consultant on the QOV - my 11 year old niece, Ashleigh!

And just for fun, I'm showing you a charity quilt I made about two years ago. It uses the same fabric for the focus, but is done in a different color way.

I was quite happy with how both turned out. In fact, i was surprised that my brain let me go to a different color way after I made the first one (the charity quilt). Usually i get stuck that way.

QOV is the first 3 pictures.

A quilt is like a good life. It's full of mistakes, but, in the end, it looks pretty good.
