Not enough that there are designprogramms out there, even more stunning to me is the fact that there are people able to work with them!
I help myself with the neat copier of DH. All you see besides the middle part is made of paper.
The 3D pinwheels will be in different colors also and I tend to the pyramids.
Would apreciate input, maybe even another border.

lots of "fabric" to work with

Holy Gee...it's like making a quilt twice! It looks absolutely fabulous! Can't wait to see it done. I am sure cutting out paper is alot faster than cutting fabric...but it is pretty cool to see what it will look like and be able to move things around. Is the paper quilt actual size or a tabletop miniature!? :)

Is that fabric or paper? If it's fabric how are you going to wash it?

I made copies from each fabric and the only 3D pinwheel I have so far

how about the pyramids facing each other - with or without sashing?

I think the pyramids facing each other gives it this really neat, almost 3-D look.

And I like the sashing!
I like it the way the bottom picture is :)
