I have seen other quilts made in this design, I was wandering why there is always a half size design at the top and not just finish the whole design? I know that would change the size and all, but I would wander how one would look..thanks

Well, the only reason I did that was for the size. :) I tried it out both ways in EQ7 and both ways looked good, but I wanted a slightly longer quilt for her to tuck her feet into.
