Default Quilted book cover

I found this pattern in "Quilt Almanac 2012" and decided to make it for my chronological Bible. This was my first adventure into 'machine quilting', and I used a curvy line, since the fabric didn't lend itself to a simple crosshatch. It's not perfect, but I am happy with it. It was actually my first project in awhile that didn't cause a lot of swearing.

It also has handles for carrying. I like that you can easily fold them in if you don't need to carry it.

The inside, with coordinating 'pockets' to keep the book in place.

How it looks with the book open:

Thanks for looking!

Really like this - I've got to make one for myself. You did a fabulous job on it.

Very pretty and practical. I have a few favourites in my book collection that could do with covers....another thing to add to the "to do" list.
