Do you like to make bowls ?

I wasn't a fan of bowls until I made the first one.
The possibilities are endless so I didn't resist and I made a few.
They were a good way to show my love for shadow trapunto and Kaleidoscopes.

More pictures on my blog, I have there even a tutorial.

Geta, your work is absolutely gorgeous and I am blown away by your talent! I had never heard of, let alone seen "shadow" trapunto before. I'm dying to learn how to do it, but I'm one of those people who needs to take a class or have an actual lesson to learn new techniques and I haven't been able to find a class or even an online tutorial.

Do any of you other quilters know of any classes? I swear it would be almost worth a plane ticket. Stateside, I mean. Geta, can't quite make it to Romania yet. But one of my favorite docs is from there.

Gaigai, you don’t have to fly to Romania for a class ! Because I will launch my first shadow trapunto pattern very soon (in a week I hope).
Meanwhile, you can see the basic of this technique on my blog here:
http://cadouri-din-inima.blogspot.co...nou-quilt.html

There are a lot of pictures there.

I am crazy about this technique !

Your trapunto creations are beyond description. Thanks, for the tutorial. Maybe one of these days, I'll feel skilled enough to attempt one. They are beautiful!!!!
