As far as removing the paper, try folding along the seam lines and then use your seam ripper between the paper and the fabric to remove the paper.

Thank you, I will try that now that I finally own a seam ripper after 40 years of quilting.

I love the triangle idea. I finally got into saving them (held off for quite a while) so I might borrow your idea and finally do something with them. Thanks for sharing and the inspiration
