Default Quilted Reversible Bath Mat from Towels

I needed a fun project this morning so I decided to try making a bath mat from a couple of my small towels. This is what I come up with.

Simple, but lovely. Looks very nice in your bathroom.

I like this! Did you use batting or just the towels because they are already thick?

Thanks. I used 80/20 batting and quilted in with the walking foot on my domestic. I didn't think the batting would make dry any slower, might help if the towels are separated a little. We will see.

Neat idea! And you can throw it in the wash without worrying about the rubber back coming off.

Thanks for answering so quickly! I like the idea of batting in between--seems like it would make it look and feel more "plush"!
