    Default Quilting Fabric

Hi everyone. Just wanted you to see the quilt that I created when I was trying to find more of the darker blue material I had purchased at Jo Ann Fabrics using the Quilting Board and couldn't find it anywhere so I then created my own quilt using different fabrics to create a "30's Star shine" and didn't use the same materials that Deanne Eisenman used in McCall's May/June 2015 with her gorgeous "Liberty Star shine". But I think it worked. She did a beautiful Red/White and Blue but I didn't have those materials but used her great design to make this one.

That is gorgeous! To me it's 'beachy' or 'summer' colors.

Beautiful. I just love the colors you used. You should send it into the magazine with the pattern name and pattern designer. I bet they would feature your quilt. They like to feature quilts done with their patterns in different color ways. You did an awesome job changing the colors.
