Default The Grey Quilt for DGS is FINISHED!!!!!

I posted pics last week of this quilt in progress. I just finished it and also made a pillowcase to put it in. Hope you like the finished product.

Thanks, he only wanted a "touch" of red. I can't wait to give it to him this afternoon.

This is great for a boy. I am sure he will love it. It seems so full of texture.

Fabulous quilt, the red is perfect. It would be blah without the red. Or lime green. Someone put that in a quilt this past week's pics and it was great.

He painted his room grey this summer, and wanted a grey quilt with just "a touch of red". It wasn't easy finding greys that didn't have flowers or feminine swirlies, so went with geometrics. The backing is flannel. The thing weighs a ton, but I am sure it will be warm. I have enough pieces left to make matching valances for his 2 windows.

I love it! I am a fan of grey and the touch of red always goes nicely with it. Love the pattern too. Congratulations on completing it.
