    As we were cleaning out the attic last weekned, I found these tow quilts in a bag. Apparently they were made by my late MIL and ended up in the attic when my husband closed up her apartment in CA. They were smelly and stained so I threw them in hte wash with some ammonia and they came out OK. The Sunbonnet Sue is done in muslin with the blocks set on point. Both were handquilted. Thought I would share my find.

    I have never seen a quilt with so many sue's on it. Glad you found them before it was to late to clean them. What a treasure.
