Default Double Four Patch

Here's a Double Four Patch I made using the stash. I can't justify more fabric purchases until I get rid of some of what is here....

Anyway... it finishes at approximately 56 inches square. I found a free, basic pattern online and used it to make something the size I wanted.

Very attractive pattern! I also love the variation in your blues - everything about this quilt says simple and elegant. I like it very much.

Very nice! I need to do that, too. Especially since I went to Goodwill and bought 115 yards of fabric this past Sunday....couldn't pass it up. It was obviously a quilters stash who had passed away or was downsizing to move into a smaller place. The fabrics are fantastic LQS quality, and it worked out to be less than $3 a yard. I'm slowly using the Bonnie Hunter method to cut down the containers of scraps I have that are smaller than fat quarters into certain sizes so I can quickly make quilts in the future with those scraps. There is never enough time....

I don't even like blue but that is an attractive quilt. I find simple is often best and makes for relaxing stitching.
