I was at the annual Celtic Festival at the Ag and Forrestry Museum in Jackson this weekend, and wandered into the museum hall. Hanging from the ceiling they had a beautiful show of some extremely detailed quilts. Most had incredible applique work, the likes of which I've never seen! Some were just incredibly pieced, and some had both techniques! Hope you enjoy the pics and if you are near Jackson MS soon, stop in and visit the museum.

Thank you, sewbizgirl! I didn't realize the Celtic Festival was going on. I am going to try to go see the quilt exhibit. After all, I'm only 15 minutes from the AG Museum!!

Are they open during the week or only on weekends? I guess I could call them myself and see!!!! :)

Definitly worth the trip. Only thing ie it isn't possible for me. Thank you for sharing. Really good pics when you think about them bring near the ceiling. It is enough to get our creative juices flowing. Thanks for sharing.
