Default quilts that i have made since joining site

these are some of the blocks that i made and include in quilt for my very special
step-mom who will always be mom to me. I used some counted cross-stitch design
that i had a friend do up fo me. because i didn't have good eyes do do them.

i worked them into the quilt blocks. and the quilt took on a very personel touch.
with touches of laces ,ribbons and baby rick-rack for extra texture and contrast to accent the many fabrics and blocks.

it alot of but i'm very satified with the final completted quilt.it is trimed in prarrie pointswhich was a very nice touch to it. also used the star design and snowball blocks which i had never used before this quilt.
**the 9-patch blockS** I had done in previous quilts.

glad to share my experiences with this quilt.
thank-you

i will post finished project once i locate the pictures

my pictures are not very organized yet.

What a great way to show off counted cross stitch. I have blocks that my daughter made, completing the first one in 1984, and I have been trying to figure out how to put them into a quilt, and your quilt is very inspiring. Great job on all the rest of them. Beautiful.

Awwww, you're step-mom/mom will feel so loved. What a wonderful creation with the combination of cross-stitch, quilt blocks, ribbons, etc. She's a lucky lady to receive it.
