My quilt group ordered 9 kits. One lady made two extra quilts. They are folded so I could get them all in the picture. I love making the QFK. It is such a wonderful charity. :D

I know the founder Linda Arye, and she's wonderful. And yes, Quilts for Kids really is a terrific charity. And the quilts are very doable because they need small ones!

In their partnership with Downy, they were hoping to get 10,000 quilts and guess what! They got them! Think of that as 10,000 children being comforted. How cool is that!!?!

You ladies are to be commended for your dedication to such a wonderful organization. Can you even imagine what 10,000 quilts would look like. The very sad part is that there are 10,000 needed.

At one time or the other, I faced loosing each of my 3 sons. Can't even imagine if they had not survived. These quilts must be such a comfort to the child and the family.

She must be to oversee such a large project. My hat is off to her. I hope this charity continues to prosper so that she can continue her endeavor. Blessings to Linda.

They won't come and get you. We all know that life intrudes so often on us and doesn't let us get to things we want to do(hmmm.. make that TOO often). All you can do is try to get it done before it slips your mind.
