Default quilts for my 10yr old neices
Each of my nieces turned 10 this year and I decided to make quilts for both of them. One is a mixture of piecing and embroidery . The other is piecing and applique. The applique cats are a BOM from http://www.syverkstan.net/ and I added the pieced blocks to make the quilt bigger.

Great quilts!!! I'm sure they will love them. I also like to add embroidery to my quilts. It really adds a personal touch.

Love embroidery quilts, I have made a couple of them, lots of work. Both of your nieces are lucky little girls. Wonderful job.

I just love you cat quilt.
I also collected that set of patterns.
Your strip fabric makes your cats...very creative.
