Quilts Ready for Texas Trip
#1
Well i finished the last one Friday night at 9:00PM. somehow they never are as good as what i picture in my mind!:) I really am fairly pleased with the outcome. my FMQ is never as good as i want, but it's done now and I'm not picking it out. The sock monkey quilt has too much green. I wish i had used a print or another shade of blue and then used the green in a narrow border and the binding. But it's growing on me. the blue/brown quilt ended up with a few wrinkles on the back which are not noticable after washing.:) anywho i like them all and i hope the recipients do too!For those of you who offerred quilting advice for "once in a Blue Moon" i'm sorry that i didn't do fancier quilting on it-i was too chicken!

All of them look great to me. even enjoy the green on the sock monkey. Love the sock monkey embroidery - sweet! As for "quilting police" they are not allowed. We are here to learn, support and make more quilts. Our slight imperfections are character added to make our quilts unique. So carry on and have fun along the way.
