Thanks everyone. Glad you like it. Sorry but it's staying home except for the show if I get it done one time you won't find it in Guam..HAHA. Starting on the Lily, block 4 today. Gee I might even get them sewed on and put together before Saturday. The lily has 3 white flowers. Hope it shows up good.

You are doing a beautiful job on this quilt! I bought a kit with the daffodil block from this set and got through creating the background and fusing on the appliques fairly easily, but I am having a hard time zig-zagging or satin stitching the edges of the appliques. The biggest problem is going through the folds of the background grid fabric.
Please tell me if you are machine sewing down your appliqes and if so, how are you doing it? I work on it periodically, but it seems like there are some ragged edges and some rough spots where I hit the grid intersections.
Thanks! and that will be a gorgeous quilt when you're done!

Thanks, I haven't sewed any of them down yet. I left it out in the trunk of my car and it's too cold to go out and get it. The wind is terrible out there. I'm afraid my tiny dog will fly away if I let her out  I imagine it will be a challenge for me too. Sorry I can't help you. I was just planning on an applique' stitch of some kind. Both of my good machines are in the repair shop. The one I'm using it not my favorite for anything.
