Default Rag quilt and Tag blanket

Just after the beginning of the year I came down with a cold so I have kept close to the house to recover and not infect others.

Not a hardship - had lots of projects!
The following photos are of rag quilts and tag blankets.
I enjoy making the tag blankets - a little quilting, a little embroidery machine and little sewing. Another good scrap buster!
I don't particularly enjoy making the rag quilts. No challenge. Also all that cutting, even with spring loaded scissors, really messes with my tendinitis.
I do like working with the lovely baby fleece and flannel though!

The two quilts in the same photo are preemie quilts for a local hospital. Our group makes quilts/blankets throughout the year and then donates them.
Thanks for looking.

wow, I've never seen a 'tag quilt' like this ... little ones would surely love these!

My now 10yr granddaughter loved to finger the silky/satin tags on her panties and clothes and when I made her first quilt she wanted the satin prepackaged binding instead of cotton binding ... she calls it her 'tag' quilt.

Little ones love these little quilts. My niece says the one I made for her son is still his favorite blanket.

Much easier to complete than using the pre-packaged satin type binding. AND there is no "right" side.

Great quilts. Gosh - when I'm recovering from a cold I can't concentrate on anything. I'm a bit jealous of your ability to make quilts!
